The city has approximately 200 full-time regular
employees.
In addition, another 20 persons are employed on a part-time basis.
Applications for employment are accepted by the Human Resources Department
only when a vacancy exists and the city is actively recruiting.
When
positions are available, they are advertised in the local daily
and weekly newspapers and posted at the Job Service office and other
public buildings in
the city. Seasonal summer applications are normally accepted in March
and April of each year. Applications for other positions are accepted
throughout
the year as positions become available.
