The Finance
Department's mission is to prudently manage the finances of the City,
providing and advising the Mayor and Common Council
on optimum budgeting and capital financing options, responsibly
managing the accounting and payroll operations of the city, adhering
to all governmental accounting and reporting standards and dealing
in an efficient and effective manner with citizens, vendors, elected
officials and other departments and agencies.
