Accident Reports

If you need an accident report, the police department will make the report available as soon as it is completed. Usually this is the next day but on a major accident this may be two or more days. The cost is 25 cents per photocopied page if getting the report in person at the department. When requesting accident reports by mail, prepayment and a self addressed, stamped envelope is needed. We will also fax the report to you if we receive a prepaid written request and five dollars. Photographs are now digital and will be sent in disk form. Requests must be in writing along with prepayment of six dollars per disk. Please call the Records Division before requesting disks. You will also be given the cost at that time.
