Curfew

The city curfew ordinance is 25.08 and can be found in the city ordinances link on our website. The ordinance states that no person under 17 years of age shall be on, remain in or upon any of the city streets, alleys, or public places between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. unless a person is accompanied by a parent or guardian. The exception here is if the person is going home from school activities or employment. Other provisions about children being in school are also addressed in this ordinance as are the costs associated with violations of the ordinance.
