Overnight Parking

The city has an ordinance that pertains to overnight parking of vehicles on city streets. The ordinance is 340.009 and can be located and read completely by clicking on "city ordinances" in our FAQ link. In a nutshell, the ordinance bans parking on all city streets between the hours of 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. If ticketed the penalty is a $15.00 fine if paid within 48 hours. The fine becomes $30.00 after 48 hours. The owner of the vehicle also risks suspension of the vehicle registration.
