Proclamation Guidelines
Mayoral Proclamation Request Guidelines
The mayor of Wisconsin Rapids issues proclamations in recognition of local, national, or world events and significant community achievements; to build awareness around community health issues; and to honor the contributions of public service employees.
All requests for proclamations must be submitted in writing at least three weeks in advance. Requests should include:

All requests for proclamations must be submitted in writing at least three weeks in advance. Requests should include:
- Background information related to the proclamation
- Suggested language and/or draft of proclamation
- Any necessary supporting materials, such as event details
- Date to be proclaimed
- Date proclamation is needed (if different than the date to be proclaimed)
