Alexander Field offers these additional services:
  • Sale of 100LL and Jet A fuels;
  • Automated Surface Observation System that inbound and outbound pilots can tune into for up-to-date weather conditions;
  • In-terminal computer that outgoing pilots can consult for national weather condition information;
  • Deicing;
  • Pilot lounge;
  • Rest facilities;
  • Car rentals;
  • Courtesy car and bikes; and
  • Meeting room
The South Wood County Airport welcomes visits from the public, and has space available for organization special events, which can be arranged by providing sufficient advance notice.  
Normal hours of operation are: Summer 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., and Winter: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., but services are available 24 hours a day. Travelers who require special after-hours assistance can call the airport in advance, and the Airport Manager will be on hand to help.
