The City of Wisconsin Rapids has permit parking in municipal parking lots and certain on-street parking areas that can be rented on an annual basis. Permits are valid from September 1st to August 31st of each year.
If you are interested in applying for permit parking for the 2022 to 2023 permit year, please complete the City of Wisconsin Rapids permit parking application or at the Engineering Department, located on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
In previous permit parking seasons, customers received their permit parking stall on a first-come, first-served basis. With there being a high demand for West side permit parking locations, future procedures for West side permit parking will include a permit application period and lottery drawing. New permit applications will request your preferred lot and secondary lot preference in case a lottery is needed. The secondary lot must be different then the first preferred lot.
Spaces will be permitted at a rate of $156.00 per year with a charge of $4.00 per parking decal with each permit issued on September 1st.
The City retains the ability to cease permit parking at any location. Permit fees will be refunded on a prorated basis.
