Important Update Regarding Pet LicensingPet Licenses are no longer available thru the mail, unless you send a self addressed envelope with 75 cents postage and proof of Rabies vaccination from the Vet. Licenses are issued at the Finance Department, 3rd Floor of City Hall. The license year is January 1 through December 31. Please see information below for more details on when to license your pet, late fees, and license fees.

All Cats and Dogs living in Wisconsin Rapids must have a license issued through the City of Wisconsin Rapids if they're over 5 months-old. Pet exemption permits: Persons owning three or more sterilized dogs or cats and persons owning two or more intact (unsterilized) dogs or cats are required to annually acquire Exemption Permits.
