Blood pressure and medical alert bracelets Monday through Saturday 8 to 11 am.
Station tours by appointment.
Home fire safety inspections and smoke detector installation (upon request by the home owner or occupant).
A speakers bureau offering public education and information about fire prevention
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid classes
Annual Fire Fighter Christmas Toy Drive
Commercial fire inspections
"Keep the Wreath Green" program, a fire safety awareness program at Christmas time
The department makes the following requests:
Pull to the right and stop when emergency vehicles are responding to fires or ambulance calls
Display house numbers, as required by city ordinance
Smoke detectors are installed in each bedroom of a home or apartment and are in working order.
Adopt a hydrant by keeping snow cleared from fire hydrants
