The Assessor's Office is responsible for valuing all real and personal property within the City of Wisconsin Rapids, in accordance with Chapter 70 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Our mission is to provide fair and equitable assessments while fostering public trust in the property assessment process.
2024 Revaluation Information A revaluation of property assessments in the City of Wisconsin Rapids shall occur for the 2024 assessment year. The approximate date of the revaluation notices being sent to property owners is expected to be in July. For more information on the revaluation process please read our Revaluation FAQ. Please also notice that the Assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in state law (sec. 943.13 and 943.15, Wis. Stats.). The ability to enter land is subject to several qualifications and limitations, as described within the foregoing statutes. Copies of the applicable statutes can be obtained at public depositories throughout the State of Wisconsin, and from the Wisconsin State Legislature website or a copy may be obtained from the municipal clerk upon payment of applicable copying charges. |
