The City of Wisconsin Rapids Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Coordinator uses information technology software and programs to create, maintain and manage accurate and reliable spatial information (e.g., statistics, records, reports and/or maps), with a focus on City infrastructure such as roads, wastewater and parks. These data help City departments to better serve the public through activities such as planning and inspections, and also enable residents to conveniently gain vital information. Publicly available maps and data include recreation, garbage pickup, construction activities, and local representatives. More can be found on the Open Data page.
Disclaimer: While the data used in city maps is updated regularly, the information is not intended to serve as legal evidence of size, shape, location, or ownership of real estate. Wood County provides additional land records and property survey information.
