The Human Resources Department plays a key role in developing, managing, and upholding fair and competitive programs related to compensation, benefits, employment, performance, and workplace safety. In doing so, the department ensures full compliance with City, State, and Federal laws and regulations. Additionally, the HR team oversees labor relations, working closely with the City’s three labor unions as well as its non-union workforce.
