Burning Regulations
18.11 LIMITED BURNING POLICY:

1. Purpose. This ordinance is intended to promote the public health, safety and welfare and to safeguard the health, comfort, living conditions, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of Wisconsin Rapids due to the air pollution and fire hazards of open burning, outdoor burning and refuse burning.

Burning Regulation Clarification
This information paper is intended to provide citizens with some clarification in relation to the burning
regulations for the City of Wisconsin Rapids. These gray areas will also be clarified in the next version of
Chapter 18 of the City of Wisconsin Rapids Municipal Code.
