This week Pember began to pour sidewalk and driveways along both sides of High St. from 7th Ave N to 10thAve N. They plan to complete concrete work next week weather permitting. Residents will not have direct access to their driveways until after the concrete work is completed and cured. Wastewater force main river crossing Work continued with pipe connections to the new force main as crews placed new force main pipe along Blue Heron Lane. West Side Lift Station Myron Contractors is continuing work on the new lift station sump well. Wisconsin River Green Space and Recreation Project This week Janke Construction finished the north access trail within Demitz Park. They also completed the concrete trail along 2nd Street, between Mead Street and Locust Street. Landscape subcontractor Revi Design was onsite working on restoration south of the East Riverview Expressway. They raked the topsoil, seeded and installed erosion control material. Electrical subcontractor Current Technologies worked on the electrical control panel in Demitz Park. Next week Janke will continue working on the cutoff wall on 2nd Street. They also plan to work on the 2nd Street trail and riprap installation. Weather permitting, they will continue concrete work in Demitz Park. High Street - 12th Ave. N. to 17th Ave. N. This week City crews began underground work between 14th Ave N and 15th Ave N. They also completed road base on High St. from 15th Ave N to 17th Ave N. Residents do not have direct access to their driveways within the 1400 block. Van Buren Street – 8th Ave. N. to 10th Av.e N. Van Buren Street is ready for concrete work and driveways. Pember may begin concrete work on Van Buren Street next week weather permitting. The street remains closed from 8th Av.e N to 10th Ave. N. 10th & 12th St Sidewalk Project: 10th St. (Grove-Wood), Wood Ave (10th-12th) and 12th St (Wood-River Run) Clearing work was completed this week and City crews began grading for new walk beginning at the 10th Street and Grove Ave intersection. Next week, the City will continue grading for sidewalk on the east side of 10th Street within existing right-of-way. No road closures are planned for this project. Comments are closed.
