High Street - 7th Ave N to 10th Ave N
This week Pember continued the grading work for the sidewalk and driveways. Pember is planning to pour sidewalk next week. Residents will not have direct access to their driveways until after the concrete work is completed and cured. Wastewater force main river crossing Work continued with pipe connections to the new force main. West Side Lift Station Myron Contractors poured the first half of the new sump well and are setting forms for the second half expecting to complete the sump well concrete next week. Wisconsin River Green Space and Recreation Project This week Janke finished the trails located within Demitz Park. They moved on to 2nd Street where work progressed on the concrete trail, completing nearly 200-feet of trail and approximately 100-feet of concrete retaining wall. They also installed 200-feet of riprap from Locust Street heading north. Lastly, the crew continued grading in preparation of the installation of the northern trail that connects Demitz Park to 3rd Street. Subcontractor Current Technologies was onsite installing pull boxes in Demitz Park. MSA was also onsite staking the remaining sidewalk in Demitz Park in addition to the trail on 2nd Street. Next week Janke will continue to pour and form the concrete retaining wall and sidewalk along 2nd Street going from Locust Street to the north. Current Technologies plans to continue work on electrical in Demitz Park. Landscape subcontractor Revi Design is scheduled to begin installing the plantings in Demitz Park. High Street - 12th Ave N to 17th Ave N This week City crews completed placing new underground utilities between 15th Ave N and 17th Ave N. They plan on beginning work between 14th Ave N and 15th Ave N next week. Residents do not have direct access to their driveways within this section. Van Buren Street - 8th Ave N to 10th Ave N Pember continued the grading work for driveways this week. The street remains closed from 8th Ave N to 10th Ave N. Pember will be back next week to work on driveways. 10th & 12th St Sidewalk Project 10th St S (Grove-Wood), Wood Ave (10th-12th) and 12th St S (Wood-River Run) Clearing work began this week for new sidewalk. Next week, the City will begin grading for sidewalk on the east side of 10th St S within existing right-of-way. New curb ramps will be constructed at intersections. Comments are closed.
