High Street - 7th Ave N to 10th Ave N
City crews completed the majority of the topsoil restoration this week. The concrete is poured and cured and residents once again have access to their driveways. Pember has some small portions of concrete to complete then the street will be ready for asphalt.
 
Wastewater force main river crossing
Retaining wall construction began this week on Blue Heron Lane. Crews expect to finish the wall next week.
 
West Side Lift Station
Miron Construction completed the 420 cubic yards of concrete work on the outside portion of the sump well. Next week Miron plans to begin backfilling the sump well and installing the inlet pipe and manhole. The project is on-schedule for a February completion.
 
Wisconsin River Green Space and Recreation Project
This week Janke completed all of the concrete work within Demitz Park. The crew worked on placing topsoil within the park and finished installation of the new driveway into the park, which included grading the driveway and new parking lot area. They also finished concrete along 3rd Street, down to Mead Street and along 2nd Street, up to Witter Street. Lastly, riverbank stabilization was installed within the East Riverbank Conservancy and grading began for the multi-use trail. Next week Janke plans to continue working in the East Riverbank Conservancy installing riverbank stabilization and grading in preparation of the trail being poured along the river. Revi Designs will continue restoration and plantings in Demitz Park. Weather permitting; American Asphalt will be onsite to begin fine grading and paving of the driveway and parking lot in Demitz Park.
 
High Street - 12th Ave N to 17th Ave N
This week City crews completed the underground work between 14th Ave N and 15th Ave N. Next week work will continue between 13th Ave N and 14th Ave N. Residents along the 1300 block of High Street will not have direct access to their driveways during this stage of construction.
 
Van Buren Street – 8th Ave N to 10th Ave N
City crews completed the majority of the topsoil restoration this week. The concrete is poured and cured and residents once again have access to their driveways. Pember has some small portions of concrete to complete and a small portion of gas line needs to be replaced at the 7th Ave N intersection prior to asphalt paving.
 
10th & 12th St Sidewalk Project
10th St. (Grove-Wood), Wood Ave (10th-12th) and 12th St (Wood-River Run) City crews completed topsoil removals this week. Next week crews plan to shape the grade for the new walk.
