CENTRALIA CENTER POLLING LOCATION REMAINS UNCHANGED
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - City of Wisconsin Rapids – April 2, 2020 Wisconsin Rapids City Clerk Jennifer Gossick has announced that for the election next Tuesday, April 7, the previous polling location at Crossview Church has been moved to the former Shopko building next door (just to the east of Crossview Church). The address of the new polling location is 1100 East Riverview Expressway. The polling location on the City’s west side, Centralia Center, located at 220 Third Avenue South, remains the same. The Shopko polling location is for voters in Wards 11-21, and 24-29. The Centralia Center polling location is for voters in Wards 1-10, 22, and 23. Polling places are open 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7. The City is taking special precautions to keep Election Day safe, including minimizing common touch points; using masks, gloves and hand sanitizer; and having separation barriers between voters and election workers.
